Framers at Framing & Art Centre are trained in the latest methods to mount your needlework in ways that will present it at its best while preserving it in its original condition. Framing & Art Centre never recommends any mounting method involving adhesives or other materials that could harm your artwork. Our methods of pinning and lacing are endorsed by the Professional Picture Framer’s Association as safe, non-invasive and completely reversible. |

Mats can enhance the colors in your needlework and help tie it into your environment. They also serve the purpose of creating airspace between the needlework and glass. This helps reduce the chances of damage from minute amounts of condensation touching the artwork, a condition that can lead to the growth of mold and mildew. Framing & Art Centre recommends a minimum of two mats on any needlework. All of our mats are pH neutral and lignin-free, and suitable for preserving artwork of all kinds. |

Keep in mind that needlework can often be bulky with multiple layers of fabric, so our designers will recommend deeper frames to accommodate the artwork package. |
